I had a lovely 52nd birthday in lockdown thanks for asking.
GO FASTER STRIPE have made my 2007 recording, with JANE WATKINS on cello, PEA GREEN BOAT, available to download from 4pm on Thursday 9th April until April 16th, with all proceeds going to the Trussell Trust Food banks.
Food banks remember, according to acting PM Dominic Raab, prove only that some people have cash flow problems, not that there is genuine food poverty in Britain today, but please donate anyway, as I think people will be feeling the pinch at the moment.

In an unrelated announcement culture-starved cineastes might like to know that my favourite art film maker Andrew Kotting (“Awful. Simply awful” – IMDB user), whose travelogue SWANDOWN I appeared in, has made a new movie, THE WHALEBONE BOX, with his daughter and collaborator EDEN, and has chosen this strange time to release it on a platform (see below), where it remains until the end of April. Information below.

"I think describing himself as a comedian is the only funny thing the man has ever said. Don't bother telling me that I don't get it; I don't want it.
