Stewart worked as Script Editor on 1st of 3 series of HARRY HILL (C4), forging a working relationship which flourishes until the show is cancelled in 1999 by C4 controller Kevin Lygo, despite good viewing figures and reviews.Stewart performed 26 five-minute slots on Channel 5’s COMEDY NETWORK, which stand as a monument to his youthful greatness. Ex-Tinky Winky star Dave Thompson is rumoured to be obsessed with them.
The series was broadcast on Channel 5 and is in an eternal late night cable TV repeat loop that renders it tediously over-familiar.
