2000 - Stewart made his televisual directing debut with ATTENTION
SCUM a new BBC comedy series starring Perrier nominee, Simon
Munnery as The League Against Tedium for BBC2, transmitted from February
2001, when it receives great press. The show is de-commissioned before broadcast by new controller Jane Root, who says it "does not fit the new channel profile" which is now aimed at "affluent, sophisticated over 35 year olds." Read all about it here: www.leagueagainsttedium.co.uk August
