The show was recorded at Moat Studios, where free jazz types Derek Bailey, Ruins, Acid Mothers Temple etc have also recorded.

Vortex Comedy Night - Union Chapel, Compton Avenue, London, N1 2XD

"Having met a property developer who wanted to buy Stoke Newington's famous Vortex jazz club, and disliked him intensely, Stewart Lee blackmailed a once in a lifetime line up of talent spanning three decades of comedy into appearing at the Comedy For The Vortex benefit, April 24th, Union Chapel, Islington. Profits went to the Vortex Jazz Foundation, which aimed to keep this vital venue open and extend its activities to include community music resources and a jazz archive."

Another run of JERRY SPRINGER: THE OPERA at The Edinburgh Festival. Also, PEA GREEN BOAT is performed at the Traverse with Jane Watkins and Simon Munnery. It was a joy to be in Edinburgh for the festival and have someone else shoulder your shows' inevitable loss.
